Assumptions
All equipment offered through the Network Equipment Source has a valid serial number. If you are selling equipment with no serial number affixed, you must state "no serial number sticker" in all WTS posts and replies to WTB posts.

The minimum warranty period is 30 days. In the event that your warranty period is less than 30 days, you must detail your warranty coverage in all WTS posts and replies to WTB posts.

Warranty, Policies and Procedures
When selling to another member, the seller will honor the purchaser's warranty. For example, if the seller and buyer both offer 90-day warranties, then they would extend that warranty to each other. However, if the buyer offers a 30-day warranty, the seller would only be required to extend that company a 30-day warranty.

All equipment under warranty must be replaced within two days or a refund immediately issued. Replacement equipment must be sent using the same method as the original shipment. For example, if the original order shipped COD, then the replacement item will also be shipped COD.

Until there is a formal procedure for members to register complaints regarding problems with another company, members may create a "warning post." These posts are to read "before doing business with XYZ Company, please call me first."
